Newsletters
The Netherlands Patent Office no longer sends out newsletters about patent registration or mailings about the maintenance of BPP systems. From now on you will find this information on this portal.

You can select news items by topic and you can search for words.

The news is divided into the following topics

• Changes to the systems (BPP releases)
• Changes to patent filing processes or procedures 
• Announcements about system maintenance 
• Information about system outages
• Other messages

Information on the status of the various patent filing processes can be found on a separate page. This is updated on a weekly basis. You can access this page via the home page or by clicking here.  

Octrooicentrum Nederland is working on the possibility of receiving an e-mail notification when we post a new message on this portal. We expect this option to be available in August 2025. You will then be able to register for this email and you will be able to choose for which topics you would like to receive this email.
