Implementation of data processing and privacy

The processing of data in the context of BPP is mandatory under applicable legislation in the Netherlands. 
The Netherlands Patent Act 1995 requires that a large amount of data and communication between the Netherlands Patent Office and patent applicant or patentee be registered in the Netherlands patent register.

The Netherlands Patent Office applies the privacy policy as published on the website of the central government.

The BPP portal is a public portal and does not use cookies.
