Contact details for the Netherlands Patent Office changed

Since December 2025, the Netherlands Patent Office has been operating under its own name and no longer as ‘part of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency’. The Netherlands Patent Office has its own website.

The letters sent out by the Netherlands Patent Office and the email addresses have now also been updated. What are the changes?

Employee email addresses and mailbox names have been changed.

In addition, new mailboxes have been set up for some specific processes. You can now send your requests directly to the relevant mailbox:

On the contact page, you will find a list of all email addresses and telephone numbers. We will update the contact details on the Netherlands Patent Office website soon.

We would ask you to use the new email addresses from now on.

Letters
From this week onwards, the new email addresses will be included in the colophon of letters sent by ONCL. The logo has also been updated. In the logo, ‘Ministry of Economic Affairs’ has been replaced by ‘Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy’.

Access to BPP applications and the BPP portal

The URLs for these applications will be updated in December in release 2.12. We will inform you when the new URLs will be active.
